Reading Control 1 Title: Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (2005) Author: Rick Riordan Genre: Fantasy and Adventure Chapters:  22 Setting: So far, it looks like the story takes place in New York and, apparently, it is set in the XXI century. He mentions that he's a half-blood. Grover Underwood: Percy's best friend: a boy that tries to avoid problems and that cries when he gets frustrated, and whose mission looks like it is to protect Percy. In addition, he is crippled, so it is difficult for him to move quickly. Why have I chosen this book? Ever since I watched the films I have wanted to read the actual

Annabeth: One of Percy's best friends. Why have I chosen this book? I am really fond of the science-fiction genre in movies and books, so I have seen the movies of Percy Jackson's saga. Therefore, I consider that it will be really interesting to have a look at the book in order to get to know more about these stories. In addition, I wanted to read a book that
