Why have I chosen this book?
I enjoyed reading this kind of literary genre because its background shows the inquietude of some people by doing something beyond reality and how things can convert suddenly in a dystopia.

Summary of Chapter 1 to 6:
Everything begins with the story of how Victor’s parents met. It was something unusual, as Victor’s restlessness to experiment with human life. The story begins with Mr. Frankenstein, who was close friend to Mr. Beufort, who after a long time, suffered a bankruptcy which aggravated his life and made his daughter Caroline becoming an orphan. However, Mr. Frankenstein was there to support her, he loved her and, after meeting each other, they fell in love. Their first son was Victor, he was born in Napoles, but after failing in the attempt of conceiving other baby, they adopted a beautiful girl whose personality influenced on Victor.

During their childhood, they met a wealthy child, Henry Clerval, whose talent for poetry inspired Victor’s fascination to discover the sense of human life. Nevertheless, things got complicated when his sister, Elizabeth, got sick.  She was being attended by their mother, but lamentably, taking care of Elizabeth made that the woman ignored her health and this caused a negative effect on her that induced her death.

Although the tragedy, Victor continued studying and after finishing university, he traced his project of creating life from human organs of dead people. Victor dedicated all his soul to create the unique specimen; unfortunately, it did not result into what he was planning before. So, after what he had comitted, he escaped from his laboratory and found refuge in Clerval’s house. When he returned to the laboratory, he couldn't find his abominable creation. The next days, Victor's health became deplorable and Clerval had to take over him. Therefore, Henry wrote letters to Elizabeth to let her know in which conditions was Victor living. When finally he got better, he accompanied Clerval to get in at Ingolstadt University, the place where he studied before and unexpectedly he didn't feel comfortable by being there. Luckily, Henry comprehend Victor’s situation and supported him.
